Gurgaon's own dry port — and when we use Delhi's instead

Most Gurgaon families assume their container "goes via Delhi". It often does not. ICD Garhi Harsaru (ICD Gurugram), on the Pataudi Road side of the city, handles export consolidation including LCL (shared-container) services to Nhava Sheva, with regular rail departures. For a two- or three-bedroom household from DLF Phase 1–5, Sushant Lok, Golf Course Road, Sohna Road or the new sectors along the Dwarka Expressway, Garhi Harsaru is usually the shortest road from your door to a sealed container.

We route through ICD Tughlakabad or ICD Dadri instead when a specific destination lane is consolidating there that week, or when an FCL box is being stuffed directly at your home and the rail slot is better. You are told which depot, which train and which cut-off date applies before packing is booked.

Air consignments leave from IGI Airport cargo, about 30–45 minutes from most of Gurgaon outside peak hours — convenient for the 150–300 kg "first fortnight" box that travels alongside a sea shipment to the USA, UK or Canada.

Gurgaon's towers — from DLF Magnolias and Aralias to the Sector 82–95 and Sector 104–113 condominiums — run formal move-out procedures. Our Gurgaon coordinator handles these routinely:

• RWA / facility management NOC confirming dues are clear and the move-out date is approved.
• Service-lift booking and lift padding, often restricted to fixed hours (commonly 9 am–6 pm, no Sundays in some societies).
• Crew ID list and vehicle passes for the gate; some societies cap the number of workers on site.
• Refundable damage deposit to facility management, arranged by you before the packing day.
• Truck parking — several towers do not allow a 32-ft container vehicle at the podium; we pack into a shuttle vehicle and stuff the container at the depot instead, which is also why Garhi Harsaru's proximity helps.

Why a visitable head office matters for an overseas move

An international move is paid largely in advance and delivered weeks later in another country. Gurgaon families can walk into our Sector 74A office, see the GST registration (GSTIN 06AAMCR0254J1ZA) and company incorporation (CIN U63031HR2022PTC105105), meet the coordinator who will track their container, and inspect the warehouse where packed goods wait for dispatch or a visa date. We do not have a global network of our own warehouses — we work with vetted destination agents in each country and name the agent handling your delivery.

Storage in Gurgaon before you sail

Vacating a rented flat in Gurgaon usually happens on a lease date, not a sailing date. Packed, inventoried export consignments are held in our warehouse until the rail cut-off or until your destination visa is ready; rates are on the charges page.
