International Relocation from Noida — Dadri Next Door, the World Ahead

Noida has a logistical advantage that most Noida families never hear about: ICD Dadri, one of northern India's principal container depots, sits in Greater Noida, minutes from the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway and outside the Delhi city limits that restrict heavy vehicles. For an overseas household move from Sector 150, Sector 137, Sector 128, Sectors 74–79, Sector 62 or Greater Noida West, that means a shorter, more predictable path from your flat to a sealed container. How a Noida shipment reaches the sea

1. Survey (video or in person) sizes your consignment in cubic metres and flags anything the destination country restricts.
2. Society approvals — NOC, service-lift slot, gate passes — are arranged by our coordinator (see below).
3. Export packing at your flat, item-wise inventory, cartons numbered.
4. Consolidation at ICD Dadri into a shared LCL container (or stuffing of a full 20 ft FCL container at your society if the podium allows a container vehicle — several Noida societies do not).
5. Rail to Nhava Sheva or Mundra, then the sea leg. Because Dadri is outside Delhi, the depot run is not hostage to Delhi no-entry hours, which lets us pack later in the day when a society's lift window is afternoon-only.

Air consignments go from IGI Airport cargo — roughly an hour from most of Noida outside peak traffic. For Greater Noida West and Yamuna Expressway sectors we add travel time into the packing-day plan so the crew arrives when your lift slot opens, not after.

The typical Noida shipment: partial, not full

Most Noida overseas moves are IT and services transfers, and the survey usually produces a partial household of 4–12 cubic metres: kitchen and puja items, bedding, books, a child's room, one or two furniture pieces worth the freight. That size travels as LCL and is often paired with an air box of 100–250 kg. Full-container moves are the exception — usually PR families to Canada or Australia shipping a complete home.

Noida's tall towers: what the packing day needs

The newest Noida and Greater Noida West societies are 25–40 storeys with a single service lift shared by dozens of flats. Our Noida checklist:

• Service-lift booking — often a fixed 3–4 hour slot; we size the crew to finish within it and pre-pack loose items the previous day where you allow.
• Move-out NOC and maintenance clearance from the AOA or facility manager.
• Crew and vehicle passes at the gate; a few societies require police-verified crew lists — we supply them.
• Approach and parking — long internal roads and basement-only parking mean we may use a mid-size vehicle at the tower and transfer at Dadri.
• Fragile-heavy inventories — Noida flats often have glass dining tops, marble-top consoles and large TVs; these get crating or double-carton treatment, listed with serials for destination customs.

Timing your Noida move

• Gulf: pack when your residence visa or iqama is close; Dadri to Jebel Ali or Dammam door-to-door is typically two to four weeks.
• UK and Europe: six to eight weeks door to door — pack after ToR1 or registration paperwork is in motion.
• USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand: seven to ten weeks door to door; book the survey two months before you want goods at the new address.
